Description

Wholey Tuna is naturally low in fat and one of the best sources of lean protein that helps to boost metabolism and burn body fat. Tuna is so popular due to its delicious taste. Lovers of seafood always give priority to Tuna when it comes to their meal. Wholey Tuna is high in protein and omega 3-fats which are great for avoiding scary things like strokes and heart attacks. Tuna Steaks has a mild and meaty taste with a firm and moist texture. It has a bright red to brown-grayish-tan color.

Like beef steak, tuna steaks are best cooked rare to medium rare rather than well done. Wholey Tuna should be cooked to a pink center, or an internal temperature of 135 to 140 degrees. When you time the cooking so that the tuna is just slightly underdone in the center when it comes off the heat, it will be fully cooked by the time it gets to the table.

Wholey Seafood offers frozen skinless/boneless steaks in excellent condition. Our tuna steaks products are CO-treated; individually vacuumed packed (IVP) and is an AA Grade Yellowfin tuna. It is wild caught, using the hand lines and pole lines methods. There are a variety of cooking methods for tuna steaks: baking, broiling, grilling, smoking, or sautéing.
